CLASSIC MOVIES LAUNCH NEW SERVICE FOR MOVIE JUNCTION
12th January 2011 – Movie Junction today launched a new service aimed at clubs, societies and charities. The new service allows groups to book private screenings of classic films. To launch the new service, Movie Junction are showing a week of classics, including drive-in favourite Grease, horror Carrie, family-friendly Cool Runnings and modern classics Pulp Fiction and The Shawshank Redemption.

These screenings mark the launch of a new service by Movie Junction to allow private screenings of classic movies. Charities, clubs and societies now have the option of a truly unique fundraising activity, with the flexibility to run just one movie or run a trilogy of movies over a series of evenings.

“The scale and set-up of Movie Junction gives us the flexibility to offer these one-off films,” said Kevin Hyland, Manager of Movie Junction. “We can show a series of movies or a favourite trilogy, for example The Godfather, for either regular visitors or for a group or society who want to book a private screening. This is an exciting step for us and is another innovative step from Ireland’s first drive-in cinema.”

For more information on this new service, or to book tickets for any of the classic movies, call 089 446 1464, friend Movie Junction on Facebook at - http://www.facebook.com/MovieJunction or follow Movie Junction on twitter at - http://twitter.com/MovieJunction.

Not out of those, that's just what's showing over the next week or two.

I can't decide...car related - Vanishing Point? Bullitt? American Graffiti? Blues Brothers, Smokey and The Bandit...?

Too many to choose from. :D

Definitely Vanishing Point. Kowalski is king!!
Doesn't get screened often enough.
2 Lane Blacktop is another classic one that anyone into cars has to see at least once.
Anything with Warren Oates is gonna be good.

Drove past today (taking my new racing number for a spin, I think it's slowing me down... maybe a sticker on the door would do..?).

If anyone would like to babysit a very cranky teething 8 month old baby, and PITA almost 5 year old, we'd love to go see Pulp Fiction this week. Cheers. :p
