Convoy to the Vintage & Veteran Car Show in Banteer, County Cork, Saturday September 5th 2026
This is going to be a great event that is being organised by two Eircooled members; John Filby and his long suffering wife Sally Filby so it would be amazing if VWs outnumbered the other marques!
John had major heart surgery and as a thank you to all involved, and to raise awareness of heart disease, John and Sally are running this fundraiser event. They have put so many hours of their own time into organising this event, as have the massive team of volunteers who have rowed in behind this determined duo!
This post is about coordinating the Eircooled Convoys that are always well supported, and look impressive on the move!
I know that there are some convoys being talked about from various locations around the country so I'm proposing that convoys that will be passing through Limerick, meet at Morrisons Bar And Kitchen, just off Exit 29 on the M7 from 9am.
We can grab a coffee, a light breakfast, full Irish or just stretch the legs before heading off in one large convoy to the show.
Departure time from Limerick will be 10:30am. We can pick up other VWs along the way.
