CIP1 are selling drop spindles for $100 delivered within the US. Since Britt has a container coming over at the end of the year, he might include them in the shipment for a few quid towards the delivery. That works out at just over €70 for a brand new pair of forged (not cast) set of drop spindles. With a few quid to Britt for delivery they're still cheap-tastic.

If Britt is up for it I'm gonna buy a set. What say you, Britt? (no pressure :ROFLMAO: )

just so ye know lads import duty doesnt apply to anything from the states as long as its under 150 euro. so if they do a reasonable postage to ireland it might just be easier to order a dozen sets together to one person here and then repost around to people. we buy a load of race bike parts from canada and the states and always keep the printed cost price to a max of 149.99 :) havent paid any shitty FF bastard tax vat import etc yet .

we're kinda jumping the gun. If it doesn't suit Britt then this won't happen. If it does suit Britt however, I reckon it would be easiest to go and pay for your own, have them shipped to Britt with your name on the box and then pay Britt his fee for delivery. Simpler than setting up a group buy.

Mind you, there could be other issues at play here, like when customs inspect the container at this end, there could be duty & VAT to pay on multiple new parts, like as if they were being shipped for retail over here. We'll wait and see. Don't want to put Britt out in any way...

what's your fee though Britt? It wouldn't be fair not to contribute something towards shipping of the container considering we would be saving on delivery to Ireland, VAT and duty.
