Carlow vintage show 12th August 2012

Well lads davy here from carlow vintage club .i can asure ye that there will be no marshy field in tullow because it is the well groomed pitch that is kept all year around for the ireland rugby players,ie sean o brien and bernard jackman.there WILL be hilLman hunters and other breeds of cars along with the vws,but there will be no tractors aloud in on the lovely pitch. if you look in gallery of CARLOWVINTAGEANDCLASSICMOTORCLUB.COM website and view our last shows in tullow to see the good selection of cars and vans that attended previously.camping is free for the weekend and entertainment will be provided by irish band cupla on satuarday night.and lastly leave the scowly auld wife at home.regards davy

I got a call from a lad in Carlow this evening (he saw my add on donedeal for the Portlaoise meet), He says we are all invited to this as VWs are the car that is being featured this year. I think they are giving out prizes as well for the best cars.
Weather here in the afternoon picked up a bit so following a quick text to davy brennan to confirm the show was still on, we headed for Tullow.

what's the blue Audi 80 like in real life? I've seen a few pics of it around the web but haven't been in the same place as it at the same time. I wouldn't mind meeting the owner to compare notes
Looks like a nice car but to be honest i didn't study it too closely, here a few pics of it at another show in Wicklow last weekend ...
it all ways happens had the vw serviced and ready to go only to be told that my son who is getting married this coming sateday has set up a get together for this sunday
day of the carlow show ggrrrrr one look from herself that was the carlow show cancelled
i was all ready to go with 2 other aircooled vws they then went to fermoy and the feed back i got from them is that it was not great as far as aircooled vws where concerned
wasnt there just going on what i was told
