Hi guys,
Myself and Justin (the guy who owns the internet) have been playing with this site for the last while and although the site is now unlocked and open to the public, Eircooled is the first place we have promoted our new site to......be gentle with us
What's it about? Simple really. If you were to ask yourself where do you go to if you want to find show listings in Ireland? Where do you go to see photos and read a report on the shows you couldn't get to? Where do you go for petrolhead movie clips and photos? apart form possibly looking at various club websites who may or may not have any current information, the answer is nowhere at the moment but from today Carbs & Chrome is where people can go to. It's not a forum based website, it's a central hub for all things relating to the classic and custom car scene in Ireland and we hope that as a central point we can promote even further the events and meetings we have here at Eircooled but it should also open up other classic car events and meetings to us.
As the site grows so will the show listings so there really should be nothing stopping you from finding something to do on any given weekend.
Carbs & Chrome is not a VW specific website, it is for all classic and custom cars and we hope you enjoy. As they say on Dragon's Den; "we thank you for your time and we welcome any questions you may have"........................but the difference is we're not going to answer them, because we're not looking for money - it's all free! You can search for shows, show pics, advertise your show and even submit show pics all for the princely sum of zilch, nada, nothing, zip, diddly-squat
We will also be featuring cars throughout the year so as well as you guys submitting show pics you can also suggest your car or your mates car to be featured.
We hope you enjoy the site and we (genuinely) welcome any suggestions you may have as well as feedback on the usability of the site.
Cathal & Justin
