You would not believe all of the English and Dutch buyers with huge wads of cash haggling over parts. I sold some Splitty Doors and Bumpers to Graham, and a bunch of beetle and bus parts to K&K buyer. I can only imagine what it was like Saturday evening when the Hwaks started buying up all of the good deals and then reselling on their tables early Sunday morning.

Feeling really sorry for my bus now ...... it made regular visits to Bugorama with Jim (previous owner)

As I recall he wanted to take it to one more before I picked it up from him. I think it's in as good or better hands now Michael! :^)

He did indeed, i paid him on the Friday before the show so he was afraid he'd crash it or blow the engine (so was i to be honest).

Don't know about better hands but at least it gets a bit more driving now (even if it is only to Eddie fecking Rocketts)

I know, its survived 44 years in San Francisco and looking forward to retirment in the sun when its packed into a container and sent to Ireland .... LOL

Well I spend 5 years in Californian and went to that show and many others...

I am a mix of tears and happiness..

and now off to look for photos

I loved going to those shows..
