Could it be a type 3 kerman Nice pic of type 3 karmann without the roof? Actually no based on vents on quarter panel. Or a factory prototype type 3 convertible (unlikely)
It's a chopped Type 3 Variant so if you're feeling like you want to go down that route, here's one waiting for some custom work!
