Felicia pick-up was rebranded VW for some countries alright. We didn't get it here, but they did in the UK for a short while, and Spain, also South America too I think.

ah no, I'd say it's an early look late car: door mounted mirrors, short decklid. can't tell but I'd put money on the bonnet being short too and a fuel flap in the RHS front quarter. They look like skinny waist line and bonnet trims too, not the fat 6V style ones.
