Not something you see too often outside your hotel on a Sunday morning.

The older couple driving this Oval have owned it for 34 years. It was their second car for many years and then they restored it. They have driven to Bad Camberg quite a few times which is all the more impressive when you hear that their journey from Denmark to Bad Camberg is 900kms! They said they would stop a few times on the way to break the journey but even still, that's a serious achievement in an Oval Window Beetle.

We met them on the Sunday morning as we were heading for the airport.

This Dublin duo were up to no good all day! They were last seen in the beer tent later that evening!

I saw these two Kev so I got my retro fix! Having said that, it might be time for another Oval or a Split Beetle.

A. Ice Split would be fun but the prices are through the roof so......
