8th Annual Barn, Bugs, and Wags

Just getting sorted for the 8th Annual Barn, Bugs, and Wags. Really late organising this year, but you all know the dates by now. It will be on October 28th and 29th at VW Spares in Castledermot. This is the week after Camp and is a bank holiday weekend so you will have Monday to recover!

Once again, the event will kick-off on Saturday (arrive after 4pm) and will finish up with prize giving around 2.30 pm Sunday. We'll be holding the event again this year in the indoor riding arena next to VW Spares so you're welcome to 'camp' in your van or a tent overnight indoors. There will be an abundance of Tea and Coffee provided, a BBQ on Saturday night with burgers and sausages, and if you want to bring any food for yourself to cook on the BBQ please do. Our resident DJ Rez will be performing on the Saturday night, dancing to all hours, fancy dress more than welcome. If you are coming up on Sunday only, we will kick off around 10am, we'll also have some food on the Sunday.

This year we'll have trophies for Runner up and Best Beetle/Ghia, Runner up and Best Bus, Runner up and Best Water Cooled, and People's Choice Award.

Feel free to bring along anything you might want to try and sell on.

I spent time during the storm today digging through my vinyl.
I'll be spinning a vinyl only set on the Saturday night at VW Spares this year.
Expect ALOT of classic rock, soul, hip-hip etc. :drinkbeer:

There's always a good turnout. Is anyone bringing anything decent leftover to sell from the recent swapmeet in Wicklow?
Jon has always promoted this as a swap meet despite it located at his own business.

This was the last show I got to last year with my van and my first show this year so I can't wait!
