Hey guys
I'm a member on Vagdrivers so found out about the site through there. I've recently gotten hold of my uncles 1973 silver Beetle. I'm planning on using it as my wedding car in two weeks. I've spent the bank hol week end on getting it tidied up and it's come up a dream compared to the way it was.
I haven't a clue about air cooled cars, I drive a mkv golf. But the more time I'm spending with the Beetle, the more I find myself reading up about them and have really enjoyed working on it.
I'm looking for a couple of bits
1. A set of beetle gt wheel caps, they are the black plastic ones approx 50mm and sit 20mm proud on the wheel. I think they were pretty common.
2. A set of wing mirrors (the drivers door even doesn't have a plug to fit a mirror for some reason) The passangers side is smashed
If anybody has any of these items or knows anybody selling them I'd appreciate it. Or maybe there is a website besides ebay that you guys use for parts.
