1957 Oval

The Oval's up for sale as I've found another car and I can't get it until the I cut back the fleet. I'm selling it without the engine as I'll put it into the GT but if someone wants it we can work something out.

1957 Oval

The Oval is a '57 and is great fun to drive. It's got line loc fitted for burnouts :lol:
New 4" narrowed adjustable beam with new tie rods, and inner tie rod ends.
New rear hub seals, brake backing plates, shoes and cylinders.
New spring plate covers with new outer rubbers.

New head lamp dipswitch, new battery, new TMI door cards,
carbs have new mixture and bypass screws, new needle valves, new CSP linkage.

It needs link pins to be sorted as they are worn as will the drivers channel around the closing panel in the future.

Price: €3,900 obo as is without engine but including Porsche Fuch rims, lineloc, reclining seats etc.
As I say, this is only for sale to fund another car so if I miss out on the new car I'll keep the Oval.................why couldn't I collect stamps or something as a hobby instead - they'd be easier to store for anyway

I haven't really got a deadline as the car I want to buy is being advertised on a 1st come 1st served basis.
Ideally I'd buy it tomorrow but I can't until the oval goes. I've had lots of enquiries which is good.
I'll keep you in the loop during the week to let you know where I am with the oval.

thanks for that Coxy, Im going to try ebay first, been watching vans go for big money on ebay, olders than mine and in crap condition, only bad thing is that the van is in ireland, but we'll see. Irish people arent as likely to spend 4k on a 97 van, I know I wouldnt, unless it was fully kitted out as a camper, and in amazing condition

Being in Ireland isn't such a biggy. I've had lots of interest from UK buyers as well as Germany & France with all not being too concerned about having to collect. If they want it and know it's a good price then distance isn't such a problem.
