dellorto twin 40's with csp centre linkage.
200mm lightened flywheel with kennedy stage 1 cover.
alternator
all dynamically ballanced.
full flow with remote filter.
all new bearings and seals .
1 5/8" fully merged header and tuck away silencer.


done a few hundred miles only.

engine puts out over 115 ftlb of torque

£2500 or £2300 without exhaust system

What kind of monies (just an average costings)are you looking at for a 2276 to be built, say to the same spec as you are running,
Also what horses could you expect from both motors. Cheers Dave

the 1955 cost about £2500stg in parts and about 30 hours to build, my 2276 cost about £4800 in parts and 50 hours to build

the 1955 makes 80bhp and the 2276 should make 140+ bhp these figures can change wildly with a different dyno, but the dyno i use, a stock 1600 makes 43bhp and a stock type4 2litre makes 65bhp.
