Notchback is a peach of a car for the price. It would make little difference to me whether any type 3 was original Irish or not, and it makes little difference to the value either. Type 3's are a niche group of vehicles, and not much sought after here or the UK. the value of them in real terms...

Johns beetle should be back on the road this week and we are going to have a look at the new service station on the M6 between Moate and Athlone later in the week.

Hey Enda get set for a spin locally soon. Talking to the lads there would be a 2 beetles, 2 Type 3 fastbacks, 2 type 2's, and maybe a few more, maybe a couple of yank vintage pickups. And the 67 Variant if I get the documents sorted.:)

I took the fastback out for a spin today, and it all went well.
