World Beetle Day

June 22nd each year is traditionally known as World Beetle Day or Drive Your Beetle to Work Day. That got me thinking that with the weather looking so good for this Sunday, June 22nd, why not do our own version of World Beetle Day?

Not that any of us need an excuse to drive our VeeDubs, but would people be interested in a meetup on Sunday? Very casual affair, just bring your aircooled VW out for a Sunday cruise, park up in Loughmore Village and enjoy a breakfast, lunch or even just a coffee sitting in the sunshine outside the The Cottage Loughmore
There will also be some special World Beetle Day car stickers to mark the occasion

When: Sunday June 22nd
Where: The Cottage Loughmore in Loughmore, County Tipperary
What Time: From 12noon

So who's up for it?
Who's taking their aircooled Volkswagen for an impromptu spin and meetup on Sunday?
If there is enough interest, we will go ahead with it so c'mon everyone, let's get the vintage VW community out on a sunny day, enjoying our hobby

Fair play to those that braved the weather yesterday morning. It was horrendous in the morning when I left home and it didn't stop raining until I parked up in the car park of The Cottage in Loughmore. Thankfully the sun came out and allowed our vintage VeeDubs to sparkle in the sunshine!
