Hi Guys and gals.
As i have made a recent purchase and blown the budget wni120 is up fpr sale (with great sadness).
I bought this car nearly two years ago and it looked a little sorry for its self then - when i got it home i started to look for all of the welding bits that needed doing and much to my suprise it was solid as a rock.
All i have done to the car is add bits (these will come off just as easy if they are not to your taste) and bags of polishing and a lot of driving.
The car has lived in a garage for all but a couple of weeks since i have owned it and has been maintained to the best of my abilities - this isnt too big a boast as the work needed was minimal - oil change and new axle gaitors, front pads and that is the lot.
The car is / has
1973 black (non metalic) paint in good condition
18 month old front adjustable beam
Front bra
New bumpers (cheap ones that need to be kept polished to last)
1 year old BRM's 5.5 rear and 4.5 fronts with 4 month old atlas white wall trims all unmarked.
Front tyres are verdistein 155 classics with 450 miles on them
Rears are 205 and have done 40 miles --- yes 40 miles and cost me 75 quid each
Roof rack with brand new timber slats - other slats are available to refurb and put proper varnish on them. Rack is recenly repainted to smarten it up.
Zoom tube exhaust as wanted a bit of noise on the cheap but original pea shooters are included
Underneath is full sealled to last
Eybrows
The car is fully water tight and needs no seals etc
Heating works very well as do demisters etc
Great floors
Great Chanels
The car is perfectly straight with no dents
Engine is strong and just drops the smallest amount of oil (garage floor will prove that)
Pull and drives completley straight
Fully adjustable and seriously comfy high back seats in vinyl and velour black and grey
Good carpets
Good front rubber mats
All painted and clean under bonnet area
If i were keeping it i would do.....
Touch up front wings around headlights
Replace front shock as the rubber bits are mush at the top
Windscreen wipers stopped working 2 weeks ago - motor is fine so i think it is the spindle.
Does not need a service
I am looking for € 3,900-00 ono and this car is really worth it. It draws a lot of attention everywhere it goes and gets a lot of smiles and waves.
I believe that this car is in better condition than most (whan compaired to carzone etc) and wouldnt need anything spending on it to keep enjoying it for a long while. If you were into getting it perfect i think it would be small money to do so.
