I'm new to the site. I've got a 75 t2 called dorothy who is dying to get out and about. I notice there isnt much coming up in the calender, but i guess thats because 'summer' is nearing the end. Are there any meets somewhere in the vicinity of westmeath?

i'm happy to meet up on a sunday, or a saturday, whatever suits everyone really. I could be more assertive really. How about like that man biddlebop says and make an arrangement for next sunday (2nd sept). We could meet somewhere on the N4 near Mullingar or out nearer the lakes, depending on where others on here are based. Are there many others on here that are midlands based, cos i must be going round with my eyes shut cos i dont see that many eircooleds round my way. :D

Well I never realised there was so many so near me. So there are enough people to do something occasionally. Hopefully some might be available next Sunday. Biddlebop - got your number. Just off to Dublin port to pick up a friend which should be fun cos I hear half of Dublin is shut off cos of tall ships

How about meeting at the Covert opposite the lakes at 12 midday or the Park Hotel, and get something to eat. Haven't been at the Covert for years, so ye may know what the food is like. This would be my first time meeting anyone from eircooled, except biddlebop.
Maybe I'm getting old or just lazy, but I'm more inclined for a easy past the time afternoon, and get to know you other guys.
A run around the block is ok for me, but an afternoon of driving, not really, if I had a choice.
Thats my input folks.
John.
