Looking for a set of interesting Wide 5 rims, surface condition not too important as long as they're not buckled, dented, etc. What u got?

Might consider selling these, wide five ETMags. Bought them for my Oval but never put them on. Was thinking of getting an early bay panel or an early square and was going to keep them for that but circumstances have pretty much nixed the idea of buying anymore cars for a while so was thinking of selling.

Are they 15s? Would you know the width and offset?

And most importantly, wht kind of price are you looking for them - PM me if you like.

I assume you do not own that top set of brakes as those are of a 356 Carrera :)

The hub part on 356 drums sticks out so much further and is wider then on beetle brake drums. It is rare to see any 356 on different wheels and as far as I understand this is the reason.

I would bring a drum (i.e front) when buying any rims.

Nice, aren't they?! Unfortunately not though, at the price they'd fetch I'd be bringing them to bed with me every night. There's a guy on ebay looking for €2,500 just for the shoes and some of the internal components...

Re. vs the beetle drums, I've seen a good share of 356's running BRMs and American Eagles - have a look here. Would you think that the selection of wheel in this case can only be limited to those with a centre large enough to take the 356 hub centre?

That's a very genereous offer regarding your spare drums - I would definitely like to avoid having yet another set of wheels gathering dust in the garage...

Do you have much in the way of 356 paraphernalia in your stash, in particular 356 original wheels? Might try a different approach...

You've got PM

Regarding the fitment on the 356 drums, I'll be in Galway in a couple of weeks so I can bring along a wheel, we could meet up and you could try it against the car/drum if you like ;)

PM replied to.

Great, that sounds like a plan - nothing like a bit of a test drive before you buy :D
