WANTED T25 VW diesel campervan

I'm looking for a VW T25. Anyone have anything, or know of anyone selling a good one? I'm based in Co. Clare, but willing to travel anywhere in Ireland.

I have a panel van with windows in the front of the back. Insulated etc with a R&R bed. Reconditioned original engine, a lot of new mechanical parts, professionally lowered, merc alloys, pretty much in perfect condition. 1.6TD. 1987. €7k and she's yours.

I'm looking for a camper and my budget is 3,500 euro. Yours sounds great, but unfortunately out of my price range and I'd like a high-top with an original conversion.

you should easily get a high-top original for that money - especially if you are happy with the 1.6 non td - i know where there is a petrol one for €500 if yer interested

I'm looking for one that is ready to go and in fairly good condition. It's my first van and I'm not too up to speed with things mechanical or bodywork wise, so ideally I want something that is drivable straight away and wouldn't need much work. What's the story with this 500 euro one? Although a petrol I'm not too keen on.

The €500 one is mechanically perfect but the interior is manky. Needs to be scrubbed inside and out and probably needs about a grands worth of welding and repainting. If I recall it is a 2.0 petrol watercooled - if that doesn't make sense then I am wrong. It has a Westy interior but not a Westy roof. It is sitting near Naas and I can get a number if you wish.

Mr. Browne, I don't think the vehicle you describe is the one for me. Although the price is tempting, the work isn't. I wouldn't have a clue were to start. Thanks though.
