Wanted Split Window Beetle

I am looking for a split window beetle. Needs to be in good shape: no projects (have enough of those), no rat look, no rust buckets. Willing to pay good money for the right car. Preferably one that is already in Ireland / Europe as I want to see what I buy.

Think this car is SO sweet, but not necessarily looking for a "Zwitter" or RHD:

Seems the above bue Irish "zwitter" has been bought (back) by Motor Distributors Ireland. I was unaware but hapily surprised that VW Ireland (or the O'Flaherthy family) had an interest in the old beetles.

So I remain searching for other split window beetles. Anyone know of any that might come up for sale?

This might be the one. Also still working on a 1952 ragtop, but that car has lots of incorrect parts, a very poor paint job and a new interior out of the wrong fabric.

hello i am in co. meath split - window beetles are very hard to come by, at least for sale anyway, if you are interested i have 1956 oval for sale, it is all original no welding needed, all 6 - volt electrics with semiphor indicators, it is black.

I know wheres theres a totally original unmolested standard split window beetle for sale for £15K that wouldnt need much work, just a blow over if you want something shiny
