If anyone has an engine in need of a good home, I'm building a buggy and would love to pick up a reasonably priced unit, preferably 1600 but will consider anything.

I have a type 3 engine, complete, turnkey, twin carb, excellent compression. From an early 70'ies car. Looking for what ir cost me €1000

Is the type 3 up and running and complete. What sort of compression numbers.

I bought it from Germany. It is complete, minus the exhaust, but i have an exhaust for it. I haven't started it or even looked at it in over two years, i just remember the guy in Germany gave me the compression results, and they were good. You are welcome to come an inspect.

Ah, when you said turnkey I thought it was running. Whats the chance of getting an engine number from you.

I wont be travelling to Cork at the moment for a look see, maybe later on. If you find the compression info, post it please.
