Just bought a VW beetle '74 1200. In beautiful condition, with a very sweet engine. Had been lying up for nearly 18 months, but we brought her home all the way from Kerry to the midlands, and ran like a bird. What I was hoping for was a nice set of empi rims, if they come with tyres, thats fine too. Just joined eircooled recently, and find plenty of vw fanatics here like myself. So this is the place to get plenty of help and advice. You're never to old to learn something new. Thanks a million to all.

Yeah..and flog off them back wheels to some beach buggy owner for a bit of mudplugging

The black back wheels are cool! Paint the fronts to match, drop it a good 6" and roll her as is
