After 2 years of hard graft its time to sell her on,
I bought this van over 2 years ago as a project and have only just finished now. It is a 1977 type 22 so would have had basic seating in the back originally, It now comes with a full with rock n roll bed and 2 buddy seats, with lots of handy storage.
All of the bottom 6 inches have been welded in including the front and rear pillars, new repair panels include, both front arches, front panel, inner front vallance, deformation panel, top inner front panel support, doors, front crossmember, all outriggers, and jack points, and 100s of other patches.

When the welding was complete the van was painted by VW spares, I am 100% happy with the job they done, the van looks fantastic its original Neptune blue.
The bus drives well, the steering is tight, and gears select well, The ball joints and track rod ends had been replaced just prior to me getting it, with receipts to prove it.
The engine is a standard 1600cc twin port AS code bus engine, It has undergone a complete top end rebuild. I left the bottom end alone because there was no movement on the main barring and the big end journals were spot on with only minimal signs of any wear.
The engine now has new; Marle pistons, rings and barres, re con vw cylinder heads with new exhaust valves, Bosch 034 vac advance dizzy and an empi 34 carb.
newly trimed rear seats come with 4 in' thick foam, (very cosy)
The side panels have also been covered to match,
Thought I'd put it up here first to give forum members first chance, will go on done deal next week.
