I was cnsidering getting the van VRT'ed if it didn't sell. I rang the tax office with an honest value (5k) and honest price I paid (6k) and an honest blurb about it's condition (excellent). They got back to me today - €720 VRT. Just in case anyone else is considering doing it - a very viable option if required.
