This does usually be a fairly good show... I might go...

I was at it last year and though the weather was shite it was still a good day out.

i was talking to one of organisers
they have a rally demo

a small plane doing an aerial show. and they were hoping to have a motorcycle stunt rider too.

Yea, last year was bitterly cold and wet. I go every year. It's not a bad little show.
Coxy loves it.

This was a good show this year. Numbers were well up on last year. Vw' were seriously lacking. Here's a few that were there.

Van is looking sweet Rez! Waaaay better with an auld skelp of the lowering stick! Loving the lights too man, sweet!

(Thanks Conor. The van isn't actually as low as that pic suggests. (bit of a dip in the grass)

Really enjoyed today. The rallycross lads were tearing around the track all day with one of them even flipping (not injured thankfully). There was the usual aeronautics display with 3 planes. There was a top gear style car vs plane race towards the end of the day.
My only gripe was that they changed the layout this year and the (modern) modified cars were given a prime location in front of the main grandstand.
I was on a session last night and had the van with me but the girlfriend surprised me at our meeting spot this morning when she arrived in my beetle. It was great to have both at the show. Hope to continue this trend for other shows this year!
