nice RWD Corolla. I remember these used to be everywhere in the late '80s...
these Consul Capris are lovely:
see the old boy in the drivers seat and his buddy round the other side? Neither of them are the owner of this car. I was standing in front of my van chatting to the chap who owns the mk1 Caddy below and one of them opened the door of the van. I didn't say anything but I was watching him. Then the cheeky old buzzard climbed in! Caroline was in the back with the two girls, who were asleep. I came over and told him to sling it. Chancy auld farts...
this mk1 Golf was earning its keep towing a 1930s Austin 7
the mk1 Fiesta still holds a place in my heart, this was the same colour as the car I learned to drive in:
That Rover is a bit bubbly! I'm with you on the mk1 Fiesta Trev - my first car was the same colour as that one. Mine was a 1.0 GL - 80LIP reg no. (Still on Cartell, but dunno if that means anything). I loved that car - did about 70k miles in 2 years and it never missed a beat. They could have done with a 5th gear and bigger brakes though! One of the lads that I share storage with has a serious Ford collection including a perfect 1.3 Ghia on a ZR reg, 78k miles from new - think he's the third owner. Heres one thats in regular use around here... [/IMG]
