the the new starter motors are complete shit a waste of money
as pete said get your old one rebuilt .

think theres a place in blanchardstown village that rebuild starters,behind the 4x4 place i think it is.

thanks lads i have a guy i used to use to do recons for work stuff i'll get down to him tomorrow
on the off chance i need to go scrappy would any other vw cars have same starter

some passats have a similar starter you can swap the nose cone from the T25 starter onto the passat motor
