stuff/memorabilia/merchandise/clutter/tat. These items could be ideal for decorating your home/garage, gifts for the VW enthusiast in your life (Christmas is just around the corner ;) ) or they could be dust collectors in your collection of VW themed stuff, whatever. I don't want them, maybe you do...

here goes:

large split bus wall clock €15

small beetle wall clock €10

beetle desk clock, still in box €10

chrome New Beetle paper weight clock €10

split bus wine bottle stopper, given to me as a present but never used (I don't drink wine, stupid present TBH), still in box. €15

split bus picture frame, unused €5

Haynes bay window jigsaw, bag never opened, too daunting. 250 pieces FFS... €10

bay window printed metal calendar, you move the circles yourself. daft idea IMO. Never opened, still in wrapper €10

and finally, these cufflinks are a genuine VW Ireland merchandise item, issued in the buzz around the launch of the New Beetle in 1998 (?), they're gold plated and I believe were around the £50 mark when they were on sale. NOS in the box, never used (I don't own, nor have I ever owned a shirt that requires cufflinks :ROFLMAO: ) €30

What I've seen done before on other sites is that people pick something they don't need off the shelf and post it to another member. That member doesn't know what it is until they open it. Once opened, they too then take something off their shelf and post it on to the next member in the queue. Each time somebody gets something in the post they have to take a picture and post it on the website showing it's new place within the new garage!

Might be worth doing for a bit of fun??? :)

Sounds like a great idea. You start............ Just send your address to Gritz.................

The last person in this club is still getting enjoyment from the item he sent!

Ehhh...NO!!! :)

But that's the beauty of it...start a list...pull the names from a hat to form the queue. So anyone who follows Gritz get's the short straw! ;) I'm still smiling just thinking about that last item he sent. :)

Seen this suggestion on another forum a while back. fun idea, but why just bring any unwanted stuff (not any old crap either!) to local VdeP/charity shop instead, and at least it'll be doing someone somewhere some good.
Recently got rid of a huge amount of VW related stuff, along with a load of books, cds, dvds, jigsaws, nick-nacks, gee-gaws etc etc in the local Vincent de Paul shop.
