Save the date for an exclusive joint Eircooled / NBOC event!!!!!

All of the details have yet to be finalised but what we can say is that this is a drive-in movie premiere in partnership with Newcastle Community Cinema, Donard Park, Newcastle Co. Down.

This will be more than the drive-in movie as there will be a show around this event too with camping for vans, reduced accommodation rates & meal deals, Mourne Coastal VW Cruise, activities for Young Dubbers and more!

More details to be announced but for the moment Save The Date and Watch This Space ;)

Yes , Limerick Show 2016 will be held at Limerick racecourse on Sunday May 29th ,the same weekend it has been on for many years ......The 2016 show will be the show's 25th year ,thanks to everyone who has supported it .

Two completely different events at either end of our island. I can see both having high attendance anyway, however it is a pity they clash. I would love to attend the new event but haven't missed the Limerick show in 8 years so HAVE to go there.
Its a fantastic idea and can't wait to see the pics. It's great to see NBOC and eircooled finally get together!

Would it be possible for Limerick 2016 to be changed for 22 May or 5th of June?

Surely we've enough time to try prevent two popular shows clashing, it'd be in interest of both Eircooled/NBOC and Limerick 2016 to try sort this out.

This movie premiere was mentioned at the AGM and I think the idea of Eircooled and NBOC getting together is brilliant! :D it could be a start of many great events on both sides of the Vdub scene.

As Kev mentioned it'll really draw two crowds in both directions, for me; I've been to Limerick tonnes of times and it's a really great show I was hoping to bring the Transporter and Bug there this year but I've never been to a drive-in movie premiere so I'll probably spin up to that instead!

Aye guys. Gutted about the clash. Would so love to work something out. A few of us in NBOC, Eircooled and Newcastle Community Cinema got together and came up with that date. The clash is totally an oversight.

The last thing we would want is to take away from another top event or this one not get the support it deserves.

What excites us about this whole venture is that it's a unique aircooled focused coming together on the Emerald Isle and quite hopefully the start of more. A lot of ground work has gone into this already and it promises to be a special event with a lot more to be announced as well as the drive in movie. Think of an aircooled cruise along the stunning Mourne Coastal Route with a backdrop of mountains and sea, all the way to the beautiful Newcastle (where the mountains of Mourne quite literally sweep down to the sea!) and a day chilling in Donard Park. All of us getting to meet and enjoy a days craic. There will be happenings after the movie as well. We are so close to confirming some exciting news also.

You know, up north we are so excited and feel we are entering into a new wave of aircooled happenings and networks all over the Emerald Isle. With our new programme, making new partnerships and friendships and this drive in movie, there is so much creativity and imagination to make new dub centred memories a reality. There is a real buzz. The volume has been turned up.

Have to say we were inspired by Mart and co last Summer. We live in a beautiful island and would love to get out and see it in our dubs. Often I think about getting to some of the big shows in UK and Europe (and hope to do so) but more and more I feel I would rather make some unique ones on the Emerald Isle, using the best of what we have, stunning country, craic and mad fellas! My goodness I go on a bit don't I!

Let's see what happens.
