Welcome to Eircooled
Our Ethos is simple; We promote, maintain, and encourage the use of classic aircooled vehicles. We run the club in an open, inclusive, and democratic environment. We encourage all members to have an equal say and part to play in the club.
Thanks - the only problem is that I need the entire roof section including gutters. Otherwise it'd be good. Its probably a needle in a haystack job because I think that big window bugs only came with the sliding roof. I'm not optimistic unless Ross decides to chop his in a weight-saving effort to save fuel
You don't need the gutters. You'll spend as much time measuring the cut height of the pillars as you would cutting the roof in. There were some ragtops available after Aug '64 when the bigger windows came in but they're pretty rare to say the least.

I've heard that unless the steel sliding sunroofs got regular maintenance the water drain tubes blocked up and they rotted out like billy-o. If you do come across one, check it over meticulously for rot. No point in adding rust to a car...
