You know the drill by now folks, up for sale is my 2276cc motor from the oval.
This motor runs strong and consistent 13.8's all day long at 99 mph, it will do 500 mile round trips without missing a beat, ultra streetable but a serious torque monster to boot, in an ALL STEEL oval with roll cage etc, got something lighter, go quicker!!
The engine was rebuilt last winter and currently has less than 1000 road miles on it and approximately 20 passes over the 1/4.

case, genuine vw type3 bored to 94mm, precision decked to crank centreline, full flowed and clearance for 82mm crank.
crank. Stock vw, reworked by demello, welded and offset ground fully counterweighted and balanced, sees 7k rpm happily. New main bearings, lightened flywheel german oil seal.
Clutch kennedy stage 2 with cush loc disk.
rods. Porsche 356, ex Ritchie King, reworked, gurney style helical small end shot peened etc,
new rod bearings.
Barrels/Pistons, genguine forged Mahle 94, New rings.
Camshaft, New engle fk8.
Lifters, New sact lube a lobes.
Camgear, New CB straight cut.
Pushrods, New manton cut to length cromoly.
26mm oil pump.
Autocraft 1.4-1 rockers.
Heads by empi, reworked by bugpatch in the states with their cnc porting, then further reworked by me, combustion chambers increased to 58cc, intake ports mini d style New ex valves and lash caps.
Compression 9.6-1
Carburation, weber 44 idfs with 36 mm vents, csp bell crank linkeage, match ported manifolds.
Exhaust, A1 Sidewinder ceramic coated stainless silencer 1" 5/8
genuine bosch 009 distributor with petronix.
30 hp scat tinware
bosch reconditioned 2 pin alternator
This engine makes 135bhp and 150ftlbs torque. I have dyno graphs here to back up.
it is ultra reliable and a pleasure to drive both off or on cam.

you could not go faster turnkey for less, and just to sweeten the deal i will throw in the cb rotary fuel pump too, the ONLY thing you will need to run this engine in your car (vehicle permitting) is an oil filter head and filter (£15).
this is the real deal, ready to rock and roll, engine will come with a full service, and filled with fresh millers classic performance oil (£30)
