We're working on a deal (Me, Deckie and Jon White)to get in a batch of Propex heaters for campervans if we can get at least 10 in we can get a good price for them. The normal price is + €500 if we can get 10 or more we can get them for around €450 maybe a bit less. We already have a list of five people who want them, if you want heat in your van put your name on the list.

Hi Guys
Been doing some investigations into propex heaters. I have spoken directly to propex and can bring them in for €450 to €475 which is including VAT at 21%. (It all depends on exchange rates and shipping) Not a big difference I know from the Jk price. However I would need 10 comfirmed orders to go ahead and a €300 deposit, unfortunately my bank balance is not that good to splash out 3000 if people than change their minds. Apparently this includes fitting kit, whats in the kit I don't know. Will need to know soon.
Thanks
jon

What we are looking at is the Propex HS2000

This runs on Propane or butane.
If you have gas currently you just plumb it in, if not camping gaz is a good solution as it can be got in hundreds of countries and is nice and compact

It runs on a thermostat with options from 0-30oC
The blue one is what were going to buy
more info here http://www.propexheatsource.co.uk/air-heaters.php

The air inside the bus is heated and circulated and never comes in contact with the exhaust air
Installation requires 2 holes to be drilled in the floor of your bus to let fumes out and air to burn in.

There is extra kits available which enable you to intergate this system into your standard heating so u will have instant heat at your windscreen demister and the front of your bus. about 40 euro

Also available is a 7 day timer which will automatically turn on and off the heater the same as your house heating. about 90 euro
These can be bought outside to this bulk buy.

Depending on your bus there are a choice of places to install

under the bench/bed box

I have that one in mine... brilliant! I've run mine off propane though because it will remain a gas when it's below zero... which of course is when you want to use it the most!

The fitting kit will supply you with everything you need to get it up and running. It includes about 1m of flexible duct for routing the hot air inside the van and two vents for directing the flow around the van. If you need more duct or a Y junction for splitting the flow then these can be purchased separately.
