Looking to sell my project - 1976 1200 beetle.
Part done (bit more done most days).
New front inner arches on both sides, new rear bumper hangers on both sides finished welded in. Needs small welding to side trays in engine - trays in place just need some finishing.
All wings in good condition, blade bumpers, sloping wings and lights, pre 67 rear wings and lights.
Complete interior - black and yellow from MR2 i think
Good door cards
Front disc brakes, just needs pads.
Good floor and channels
Car has front beam but i will sell with a better one
1200 engine - out of the car
The car looks worse than when i bought it but thats because its in pieces as i have been doing the jobs that really needed doing.
Needs finishing obvoiusly but i dont think its a super huge job --- i will be working on it my self if it doesnt sell as even i should be able to finish it.
I am only selling because i have only one garage and i want my other beetle back in it as it is starting to age rather quickly in the elements
This beetle is honest, in its present state it cant hide anything as its all there to be seen by all. I dont think it'll ever be a show car but i do think that € 500 more spent on it will make it an acceptable car.
Car comes with 2 sets of wheels - 1 set of new mini wheels and one set of original wheels - tyres original steels will need replacing.
I am looking for € 1100 with for the car, 2 sets of wheels and another beam (better than the one on it).
I will be totally honest as i bought the car from someone else on here i am selling for basically what i paid for it and not for any financial reasons, i just want to have my other car in the garage
