We might as well go for it...

1. Greatballsoffire57
2. Trev
3. Ceanne
4. Horizontal
5. Rez

and maybe more might turn up on the day

I added it to the calendar and put it down as the Maldron Hotel car park at 9.30 am tomorrow - if that's not right feel free to change it - just thought that it could do with appearing in upcoming events.
Sweet! Just leaving Limerick now. I'll go in the beetle so.

This is the route you came up with on the other thread. I think it might work.

From Portlaoise across The Heath towards Stradbally, cross country to the round tower of Timahoe, up the hill to Luggacurran to take a look out over the plain towards Athy and Carlow in the distance then back to Portlaoise via my place for a cuppa and a spin over the scenic Windy Gap through Stradbally on the N80, via the Rock of Dunamaise and back to Portlaoise/the motorway for folks to head home.

I should work for Laois tourist board... :ROFLMAO:

Just home from this. Great day out. We had 4 Beetles Trev, Rez, Horizontal and Myself. Got Breakfast in the Midway. Beetlejuice dropped into the hotel for a minute for a chat. Then we went for a spin out through The Heath on to Stradbally, Timahoe, The Swan and back to Trevs place. Then we took a bit of a detour as one of the lads wanted to get a look at a car out the road. Then we went to the Rock of Dunamase for some pictures and then back to the hotel where we all took our seperate ways. All in all a great day.

We should have a meet in Portlaoise every month if possible as today was a great day.
