shipping isn`t a problem i can take it over for free . hopefully it`ll suit someone with a complete knackered engine so they`ll already have the carbs etc . 2 bidders know the reserve yet still bidding.

That's exactly who will bid - someone with a 912 already, it's cheaper than a re-build.

Did you know Bah Bah Black Sheep, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ all have the same tune and it is originally from a French song about a young girl (very young) telling her Daddy she prefers candy to having sex with older men so could he please stop pimping her out to his friends. Also it was not wrote by Mozart when he was 7 as is commonly believed. However he did write his first composition at 5 and it was fairly complex - enough so that his beloved father took him on a tour of Europe showcasing him as a child prodigy. He did indeed recompose the tune for Twinkle Twinkle slightly (12 times) to suit the clavicle (piano) when he was older and one of those is the version we use today. However (again) the words we know were not around when he tweaked the tune - they were still the French orginals - so he didn't write it to sing to his kids unless he was pimping them. I could link this in with Porsche engines using the 6 degrees of seperation but I am busy today. So there.

:ROFLMAO:
Just on the strength of the above quote, if i had the money, and a use for it, i'd buy this motor straight away.
Actually, i wouldn't even need a use for it. i'd just be safe in the knowledge that theres a man out there,
a member of the general public, that can somehow link it to the aforementioned "nursery" rhymes.
(should that be a man at large in the general public?)
'Twould make you wonder just what else is this man capable of??!??

Very nice bus. the '71 is the business.
But, according to financial advisor/wife, 250-300euro would be a fairly good quote at this moment in time;)
