The Maestro here in the US said they were the last good low hour 356 engines to be had. Some had 0 hours on them great find Barry!@
found this one localally here in wexford attatched to a grain blower of some description so it has seen some use. however judging by the overall condition i`d say it seen very little use , it`s mint inside the rocker covers and the exhaust ports look like new nice shiney silver colour instead of black.from the little research i`ve done on these motors i think it would need the cam swapped and a the compression bumped up to see 100ish bhp and a pair of carbs instead of the single solex that`s on it at the moment
