OK - time to really sort things for me and so I thought I would ask on here before buying new

Single port 1200 - fan
- fan housing
- gearbox tin
- front tinware over exhaust

Alternator stand

Coil - bosch

Front end - Castor Shims
- Narrowed short track rod

The attached alternator I think is the external regulator type, but maybe one of you can confirm this ?

If so I guess I need a regulator, and or connector plug to go on the connectors(Duh!)

Thank you

I have a choice of 1200 non-doghouse fanshrouds. I'll get pics tonight, they're in the loft.

I'll have a fan too but it's probably attached to a dynamo so might be a job to get off. Leave it with me.

Thanks lads

Trev - I suppose I could run a dynamo and leave it all as is in the car, just fancied a radio in the car for the summer, and headlights oh and wipers lol

turns out my choice of fanshrouds is limited to doghouse only. This time last year I'm sure I had three or four non-doghouse ones. I must have sold/given away them all!!

on the other hand though, I have two 12V dynamos, one with a two-pin plug socket and the other with the ordinary two posts. Both with fans as you can see. Have the tin for over the exhaust too. If you want your choice of dynamo/fan and the rear tin I'd be happy with €30 for them. :)

it's the rear tin (over the exhaust) and I'm 99% sure it's for a 1200. I'll compare it to another piece already on a 1200 engine and get back to you...

up north :)
as for the alternator, the internal one only has one post on it, the external has the three as you can see, one for earth, one for gen light and one big heavy red goes to regulator under back seat. there is a special plug for the top but its not essential, the crimps that everyone has do the job. the internal type has all the noggins inside and means you can just join the wires under the back seat, id go for one of those given opportunity, sometimes a second hand int alternator is cheaper than a new regulator.
