I thought this place was well worth a mention. Owner John O'Neill took the time to test fit a tyre for me so I'd know 100% if the size I wanted would fit. He replaced a seized track rod end for me as well, and balanced my front wheels. His service was excellent and his prices very reasonable. €200 for a pair of Dunlop 205/65R16 tyres was definitely a good price.

His number is 087-2881208.

I got my bairgain off Knk, but I've been told I shouldn't run anything more than 165's on the front.
The tyres are 175 (perelli) on Marathon wheels????

and you can't get 165 Perelli's.

I didnt change my front tyres, just the back, and I couldnt go any bigger than the size I got. The higher sidewall has affected the roadholding of the car a little in a negative way I have to say but only a little, and for the lower motorway revs its worth it. I did find though that though my revs are lower, my engine lacks the grunt to get the car up to 75 on the flat now. Thats only a temporary situation though!

I don't know really, Tom Lalley that's going to restore my wheels said I shouldn't run more than 165 on marathon wheels because of the width of the wheel. I'm not sure, I'd have to check. But 175 would be fine, I would have thought.
