at a reasonable price too:

Full

it's a 1200A Sparkafer too, small headliner, metal dash, one vent in dash, old steering wheel, painted bumpers etc etc

I'd be considering it first over this one: recent paintjob but still needs welding (eek!!)

Ballytoooooole .............
TIM this is the car you wanted

Thats the one I seen in February. (I was there as a second eye)

Its worth the money (unless the new owner found something scarey)

The last time it sold within 24 hours about the same asking price

First beetle I ever seen an NCT cert with. It seemed to have very low miles ( little or no wear on steering etc.)
but the floor had been done but not to a show car standard. . . .
There was metal plates welded in and they held in all the water that was leaking in the window seals

If I was looking for a daily hack i'd buy it in a second

The battery was half dead I seen it turn over but not run
petrol pipes were perished also
It had spent a couple of years outside without been driven but not long I think the NCT was from 3-4 years ago
Brakes weren't ment to be great
alot of the window rubbers were perished
I can't remeber any major rot
At the time I reckoned a few days work and 3-400 euro and you'd should have a respectable motor

If you didn't come apon anything major

.No, I wont be looking at this one at the moment,

My own 76 one is going well, body needs a cosmetic touch up, when I get
around to it, so thats me daily hack at the moment. And the 66 beetle needs the works
too, so I might get to that in a month or two. And then a 64 panel van, and a 57 beetle
have cropped up, and the 72 down the road from me...............fek it, thats enough choice for anyone.

Price is right though, must be worth a punt for some one.

Panel van and 57 will be moving on , so I,m hoping to start the beetle in a month or 2.

I can devote all my time to it, so it,ll be months rather than years , before its on the road.
As a 54 year old ex Construction Design Manager, I doubt fas will be queuing up to interview me for any vacancies any time soon, so at the moment I,m in forced retirement;)

I don't think FAS would be much use anyway Tim, after my experience with them I'm not exactly sure what they're even for. I'm 30 and arranged an interview with them as I wanted to retrain and had a couple of apprenticeships I was interested in starting and they basically told me not to bother. No support or encouragement from them whatsoever. There's not much call for staff in Architecture these days nor is there likely to be anytime soon so I think retraining is my only option. I don't want to emigrate.

There,s not much call for any staff nowadays, of any description. Maybe as a bounty hunter for crooked banksters(y)

ROFLMAO

Sure they wanted to send my dad on a computer course, when he was touching 60, in the late 80,s. I think it was manpower then, but the same bunch of muppets.

Biffo,s job will be on offer soon..............might be worth a shot
