Im going to be knocking the kitchen into the dining room imminently and my trusty 782's just arent going to fit in with the room (or stereo for that matter) so its time to downsize sadly.

Anyone into hi fi will know the 782's are a fantastic floorstander and pretty much wiped the floor in the sub 1k category when they arrived on the market. google will tell you how great these are.

As for condition, they are in great order, one speaker has the tiniest of blemishes on the corner which would be hard to spot and there is a slight coffee mug stain on the top where my wife left a cup on there, this could easily be got out with some polish im sure.

as for price im asking £200 no offers, these really are a fantastic speaker, they come in there original box and packaging with instruction manual, back when new these would set you back near £1000.

Located in portadown.

I was wondering on the price for these and a couple of pairs ended on ebay yesterday, they never come often and just like a london bus 2 came up at the same time, there was an average pair without boxes/packaging etc that sold for £220 and a mint pair which looked fantastic that went for £330, there are these knackered units for £90 but will cost you a substantial amount to fix. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mission-7...omeAudioHiFi_HiFiSpeakers&hash=item4d17115c4a.

So it seems im fairly reasonable r.e price, what i will add is these have the "updated mid drivers" the early ones gave bother but mission released an update to eradicate this.

I will also throw in a pair of Chord Company Gold phono leads, any test welcome, bring your amp/media.

Just added to this list my old Technics SL1210 mkII, in average condition one is good the other is missing its lid ( which i accidently cracked ) and has a chip on the body in one corner, does not affect operation whatsoever.

£250 for the pair and ill throw in an old numark mixer.

I see loads of pairs on ebay for around the £500 mark, they've been £500 a pair 2nd hand since they came out, i think they cost me £350 each when i bought them brand new, im happy to pass them on so ive priced fair to someone who will realise the wonder of mixing live vinyl as apposed to something i have never done which is press the "Sync" button. My DJing days are long gone and the racecar may as well have money spent on it rather than all this stuff sitting in my roofspace.

How do i modify the title of this thread? iv'e done it, but it doesn't show.
