I have some Irish glass for sale - All the windows out of a late Beetle except the back one. I also have a side window and rear window out of a late 50's / early 60's Bug. The glass is a bit scratched but if it's any good to anyone they can have it for €50.

It's the VW windows made in Tullamore (if I recall correctly) for the Dublin factory. They all have the shamrock etched in a corner. I had a set of 1952 "zwitter" / "oval dash split window beetle" rear windows in my hands last Sunday and even they already had shamrocks in them!

I think it was Templemore in Co. Tipp. There's still a glass factory there if I recall correctly.

I have a shamrock etched rear oval glass in my Subaru bug.

The style of the shamrock is different from the '70s sharock glass too...

Its still there alright.
It was triplex back when it made the vw glass but is now sold to taylor made.
They mostly supply boat and tractor glass now.

If its called tipp glass they do all sorts of glass. toughened laminated etc etc. They used to supply us with glass when i worked in a factory a couple of years ago.
