Some weeks ago with Maurice Buckley, old Mallow Rd., Cork his son Aidan now runs the VW breaking business. Has an original 1200 cc beetle cork reg with shamrocks on glass, needs full rerestoration. engine runs sweet as a nut, has 75k original miles. Maurice knew original owner who was fussy about his beetle. For anyone looking for an original irish beetle with shamrock logo on glass this is a possible basis for restoration.
