Bugger that gives it as an ignition switch , its a little black box with a multi pin connector on it . I will have to take it off car and clean it up to see if number is correct (dark now)

Yeah, that's it, no? Isn't it a switch that takes the high voltage away from the points, making them just act as a trigger?

i suppose possibly ,ignition switch to me means the bit you put key in. I'll double check number anyway next few days
