[Wanted: Parts] fuel guage needed for 70s bug

hi lads,

the vibrator/voltage stabilizer seems to have failed and fried the fuel guage on my dads bug. replacement vibrator I swapped in off a spare speedo gets warm so assume its working but the guage is still stuck on empty so I assume its fried (based on internet wisdom).

anyone got a spare known good fuel guage they'd be willing to sell?

are the vwspares and the aircooled technology ones the same quality?
bit of a price difference..

Way cheaper get a used speedo and either use that or parts off it, if your heading cork way ide give you one
