Looking for brake cylinders for both front wheels for the '53.

Think they were the same up to 1957.

Need these urgently! Can't wait for an order from UK.

Can anyone help?

I got some stuff off Jon White and he had them in a couple of days I was well impressed with how quick he got them. Just an idea if you have no luck!

If you can't get hold of any cylinders in time another option would be to temporarily swap out the complete front brakes for any wide5 brakes in working order ,even taking the stub axles for a quick bolt on fix. that's only useful though if someone can loan you some to get you mobile. Good luck !

there are 2 different size brake cylinders on oval bugs (as far as i know 17mm and 19mm ) you would need part number to be sure

Crisis over, thanks guy's.

Managed to bleed the brakes from the lines before the cylinders. Got plenty of pedal to stop it now. Will do for the short term.

Ordered new cylinders from UK for proper job over the next week or so.
