Hi all,
I am a long time lurker on this site! I said I would put my van on here first as I would like it to go to an enthusiast.
For sale I have a VW T25, Transporter Westfalia Atlantic Hightop. The van is 1990 with a 1.6 td JX engine.
The van is original factory spec in white with all the interior intact and unmessed with.
The van is as genuine as they come.
A few points on the van.
It has a DOE/ test until April 2023.
The van is left hand drive.
It has the original interior, there are Alfa leather seats fitted in the front however I have the original captains’ seat.
I have the storage box behind the passenger seat.
Atlantics are well insulated including the windows, and there is a diesel heater in the van also.
Sleeps 4 2 up 2 down.
5 speed gear box.
Recently had Powerflex bushes on the front components steering rack etc, drop links etc.
Fammina F45 awning
I have folders of history on the van.
I have a set of new tyres fitted and also have a set of genuine VW CARAT alloys to go with the van I have never fitted. I paid a lot for the alloys and never fitted them!!
Very clean underside little or no rust, it has had 2 patches in the past one under the fresh water tank and one under the arch. That is it.
Drives fine no issues.
We have had this van 6/ 7 years now and loved it. It is a genuine Atlantic Hi top, plenty of storage and has always been reliable, I covered 3000 miles in France in a week in this van.
There are a few minor issues like external tidy up and the fridge only works on Electric and battery otherwise the van is perfect.
I have tried to cover everything however probably missed loads. Bit of a cliché however it is a genuine reluctant sale. I have started a new project and the Atlantic could make room.
I will send as many photos as I can to anyone who is interested.
I am looking for around €14,000 for the van. I don’t think this is out of the way on this.
If any interest please PM me on here and I will send pictures. The van is currently in dry storage, Apologies for the close up pictures, should give an idea of the condition of the van however.
Thanks a million for reading.
