Offers
- you'd never even buy all the component parts for that let alone have them assembled together in a restored shell.
Right, this or the Ghia needs to go. I am open to reasonable offers and will consider different part options i.e. I'd let everything except the engine go for €? - that'd be restored and painted body, 944 Turbo brakes on all corners, 901 5-speed gearbox, 944 interior, Gene Berg shifter, Cup alloys, etc.
I'd let the engine go for €? - that'd be 2.4 Maher block with BAS shroud for upright cooling, Mocal remote oil cooler, hi-torque starter, BAS exhaust, Weber carbs, etc.
Might sell the chassis i.e. I'd keep the body and interior and let everything else go for €?
The bug is not finished - it needs the wiring to be completed, lights and wipers to be fitted, that kind of thing (see the list above). Also, the body is showing signs of rust around the rear apron - it was the only part of the car that wasn't dipped as it was going to be removable but was fitted to the car temporarily for transportation - about four years ago...
