Were you bidding Tim?

Made a cash offer of 8k yesterday, and it went for 800 more. My connection speed doesn,t allow for sniping, and I had a figure of 9k that I wouldn,t go beyond anyway. Saw it get a bit frantic from 8 onwards, so I thought it would go way beyond the 10k to be honest. But surprised really.

Good luck to the new owner, good value for sure

Ah well - its a pity as I thought it would be what you were looking for. At least Ger knows if the winner doesn't follow through that there's a local buyer waiting.

I,m sure for 8800 the buyer will follow through:D

Personally after some I,ve seen recently for 6,7 and 8k, I was surprised this one stopped where it did. I had visions of double figures at least. maybe the money is just not out there anymore.

For future reference: with ebay sniping software, you set up the maximum allowable bid days in advance and it does the last minute sniping for you. You don't need to be logged into ebay, you don't even need to have your computer switched on...

Problem with that is, I,d still want to up the maximum if I think I have a chance in the last 15 seconds.:D

The bus made it's way out of Ennis and down the M18 earlier today.

Nothing like eBay to get seller and buyer to focus on the job in hand.

I have the space I was after and the buyer has a great bus for a lot less than I paid for it. We're all happy.
