Eriba puck wanted for a vintage VW. I know its a long shot, but I wont know until i ask.
I missed a nice one yesterday, so i'm back to the drawing board.

Eriba Folk and Eriba Puck ar3 two Facebook pages in the U.K. that often show Pucks for sale, naturally enough the vintage ones are a bit rarer.

Eriba-Classics.nl is also worth a look.

We had an Eriba Pan Familia that a previous owner had imported from The Netherlands.
It’s slightly bigger than the Puck but very comfortable and easy to tow.
The big drawback with the Eriba is the lack of toilet facilities.

I see all the usual uk sites for them, but I'm worried about the import duties ect. I dont want to be racking up the cost of another one in customs.At the moment I am concentrating on the places in europe.
Thats a lovely unit you have.

The bus and the caravan are now with different owners.

I don’t think the caravans are subject to the same import scrutiny as cars.
They are not registered anywhere and who is to say where they came from or when they arrived in the country?
Not that I would be advocating defrauding the Revenue or anything like that

You are probably right. But what happens when my outbound ticket is for a single car, and my return is for a double space. You cant deny that. Anyway I'm chasing that one down with a friend who works in the customs for revenue..

...I think you can add a trailer to the return ticket, if you get to the booth early, well before sailing time, n pay the extra few pounds for it.

.... incidentally, you can still buy your ticket for the sailing at the booth at the ferry port, provided they've got room on the boat....
....and, from experience, if you pay for the ticket at booth in good auld fashioned cash, this will result in you and your passengers and the car being completely searched, and a bit of an interrogation by police n customs, and you go from the front of the outside queue to the last to get on the boat....

I ain't ever heard of anyone paying customs on a caravan. But the choice in continental Europe would be better than UK Ireland. They are fairly fond of their ol'puckers out there I saw a good few in France a while ago.

I have also thought about this - you just pay for a caravan on the outbound too, the audit trail will be there ;-)

Out for a walk on holier's and spotted this. Not pulled by a vdub but pretty cool nonetheless. They are tiny though, no danger of my 6'3 getting inside it.
