I took something like 168 pics on saturday evening and sunday so I'll but up a link to the photobucket album rather than copying them all over............

Supercharged, I believe, but yes: 6.4l V8. Plenty of power in the oul' yoke.

Colm forgot the Hurling Bat for the engine lid, so the jack had to do

And the Clio got fettled with a bit of cardboard
Don't think that would have helped against the Granada though.

That would be mine alright. There isn't too many 4x4's build, so it's a pretty rare sight.

Some cool photos there J4CK, the wheels are EMPI Dish Style wheels, got them in Cali......reproduction of 60's wheel, but with new lighter materials - http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=1057175
